The Meadowbrook-Thornton creek walk is 2.7 miles of mostly flat terrain with with one multi-block, medium, uphill grade and two medium-steep uphill grades lasting about one block each.

There is one set of staircases; 77 of mostly non-standard height and tread steps, with the tendency to be shorter and narrower than standard.  This staircase leads to the only nonpaved/boardwalk section of the trail.  Here we will encounter some uneven terrain with pavers and rocks, dirt and tree roots, and possibly wet conditions.  This section is about 325 feet.

There are a few sections on residential roads without sidewalks.
