You are invited to join the Rotary Club of Seattle International District Spring Silent Auction event: BUILDING VIBRANT DIVERSE COMMUNITIES At Home and Around the World. This
online event will take place June 1-12, 2023. We hope you will also support us by becoming an SID Rotary SPONSORING FRIEND. Rotary Sponsoring Friends are individuals or businesses supporting our mission.
The SID Rotary Club has been providing services to local and international organizations since our founding in 1984. Our Club concentrates its community services in Chinatown-International District, Central Area, Pioneer Square, SODO, South Downtown and South Seattle.
We are celebrating 39 years of local and international services. Here are some of our projects:
- Working closely with the Low-Income Housing Institute to support their projects to provide affordable housing, low-income housing, and Tiny Houses.
- Providing scholarships for aspiring college applicants from Seattle High Schools including Franklin, Roosevelt, Garfield, Rainier Beach, and Cleveland
- Supporting education and literary services to Seattle elementary schools including dictionary projects for grade schools.
- Providing services and volunteers to Chinatown and Little Saigon organizations
- Supporting clean water and sanitation projects, solar, and literacy projects in Central America, Africa, the Caribbean and Asia.
In support of our Club’s activities, we are asking for your support. We have set a goal to raise $50,000. Please consider becoming an SID Rotary Club FRIEND with a special donation to our club to support our work.
